Today, we are continuing to grow with our team of 12 dietitians. My growth led me to rebrand my business in 2017 into what is now known as Clem&Thyme Nutrition. I am proud that I dared to go out on my own to start a functional nutrition practice, which was rare back in 2012. What's your biggest accomplishment as a business owner? Thus, Clem&Thyme was born – a fun, fresh name that captures my personality as a dietitian and health professional. In starting my business, I drew inspiration from my maiden name, Clem, one of my favorite snacks, clementines, and one of my favorite herbs, thyme. I finally made peace with food in my post-college years and found a love for cooking and exercise I enjoyed, later fueling my desire to help others also find their peace. After struggling with my own body image in my teen years, I began dieting – but went about it in all the wrong ways. I grew up a farmer's daughter and was lucky enough to learn to appreciate wholesome nutritional foods at a young age.
